  • Yes. Balanced for Good will provide a receipt for your donation that includes the donation amount for your records and tax purposes. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your specific contribution.

  • Each month we focus on a specific organization or charity. Visit our website to see who and what we are supporting next. After the cost of the space rental. 100% of your donation will go directly to the organization.

  • Yes - we would love any and all the support we can get. Contact us for more information.

    In addition, we would love to have volunteers as “hosts” for each class. Scroll down for more details.

  • Feel free to Venmo/Zelle Jen or Kathleen and, in the “Notes'“ section, indicate the cause and the date of the missed class. We will add your donation to the total amount raised.

  • So far, we have tapped into our exisiting yoga community and asked for suggestions. This has been very fruitful as we have our first 5-6 months scheduled.

    Founded in 2004, Urban Habitat Chicago is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to strengthening communities through practical environmental action, with a focus on material reuse and recycling, urban agriculture, and green infrastructure. The organization teaches, designs, and implements sustainable solutions across Chicago, including restorative landscapes, water management systems, and food-producing green roofs, working with individuals and groups to bring these projects to life. Through hands-on training programs, school partnerships, youth and adult workshops, internships, volunteer days, and on-site presentations, Urban Habitat Chicago empowers residents to create meaningful environmental and social change right in their own neighborhoods

Host the Evening

In lieu of a cash donation, you can participate in another meaningful way by volunteering to host a Sunday evening practice. Hosts are invited to bring a light snack to share with participants following class, helping to foster connection and community.
