We will be staying at IxBalam in San Marcos de la Laguna. IxBalam is an Eco Retreat Center, and we will have the entire resort to ourselves. IxBalam is a sanctuary for wellness and tranquility. It is a 5-minute walk to town in one direction and 5-minute walk to a nature preserve in the other. San Marcos de la Laguna is an area known for its perfect year-round weather and encircled by active volcanoes.
There is so much to explore in this region of Guatemala, we can't wait to share it with you and think everyone will love it. Of course, you can expect yoga classes twice daily, a special workshop or two, excursions, delicious food, amazing community and company, plenty of opportunities to swim, hike and explore and as much quiet time as you crave.
